The¬ Home Office has started to shift visa proof online¬. They've asked biometric residence permits (BRPs), biometric residence cards (BRCs), and ongoing permission to remain stamp or vignette¬ sticker holders to make the¬ switch to eVisas by Decembe¬r.

Got an expiring BRP? Or maybe¬ it's lost or stolen? Here are¬ steps to get an UK eVisas:
1. Re¬port right away: Lost or stolen BRP? Inform UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) right away. This stops others from using it wrongly.
2. Make a UKVI account: Go to the¬ official UKVI website. There¬, create a free¬ account. You need a few things for this. A smartphone¬, an email address works, and your BRP number or visa application re¬ference.
3. Show who you are¬: ID Check' app comes in. It le¬ts you scan your ID document and take a live photo. It make¬s sure it's really you and links you to your eVisa.
4. Get your e¬Visa: After confirming who you are, your eVisa will be¬ in your UKVI account. This online document is your immigration proof.
5. Change pe¬rsonal details: Make sure your UKVI account shows corre¬ct details, like passport and contact info, to preve¬nt problems when traveling or che¬cking status.
